The other day I came across a post on the Dread Central forums about a new indie horror flick called Bikini Girls On Ice. With a title like that, how can this film go wrong?
Plot synopsis: When a bus-load of women’s college soccer players get stranded on their way to a bikini car-wash fundraiser, they decide to set-up shop in front of an abandoned gas station on the edge of town. Little do they know the place is the stalking-grounds for a homicidal maniac mechanic named Moe.
The film is currently in pre-production and final auditions will be held in Montréal this Saturday, May 3. If you live in the Montréal region and are interested in auditioning for an upcoming horror flick (it’s a non-union production), contact director/producer Geoff Klein at info@bikinigirlsonice.com or Helene Rousse at totalcasting2005@yahoo.com.

Cool, This look great.
I’ve emailed them, maybe they need a bald man passing by at some point!
Too bad the bikini girls always have the better jobs…

You can never go wrong with bikini girls and a car wash. That’s just good business sense.

We really wanted to mix the cheese and marketability of the 80’s “over the top sexuality”, with the witty dialogue and strong female characters that Wes Craven introduced us to in the Scream franchise. A bikini car wash seemed like the only viable solution to get all of these points across.
Bikini Girls on Ice will be one of those films that will deliver on every level that the audience expects, but also make the viewer leave the theatre saying to themselves “Wow, that was more than what I had expected.”
We should have our cast rounded out by next week, so I’ll keep you guys posted.
